Program Overview


Wirtschaftsrecht Program

The Master of Laws in Wirtschaftsrecht is a postgraduate program offered by the Faculty of Law at the University of MŁnster. This program is designed for individuals with a completed university degree in law or economics, aiming to provide advanced knowledge in the fields of business, tax, and insolvency law.


Program Objectives

The program's primary objective is to equip students with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in wirtschafts-, steuer- and insolvenzrecht, enabling them to pursue highly qualified positions in consulting professions. The curriculum focuses on developing legal-methodical and strategic thinking, as well as the necessary implementation skills. Students will acquire legal, tax, and economic knowledge essential for consulting and corporate structuring.

Degree and Certification

Upon successful completion of the program, students are awarded the state-recognized academic degree of "Master of Laws" (LL.M.) by the Faculty of Law at the University of MŁnster. Additionally, students can acquire the theoretical knowledge required for the designation of "Fachanwalt/Fachanwšltin fŁr Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht" (certified specialist lawyer for commercial and corporate law) by completing a free supplementary course.
