- Theoretical presentations of methods, illustrated with examples from recent work
- Directed work using specialized software to put the methods seen in the course into practice
- A practical case where participants choose the methods to apply to provided datasets and present their work in an oral presentation
Methods and Pedagogical Means
- The program is 90 hours, spread over 15 working days, including 20 hours of courses, 40 hours of directed work/practical work, and 30 hours of personal work.
- No specific material is required, but participants can use their own laptops.
- The number of participants is limited to a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 14, with 1 to 3 places available for continuing education per session.
- The language of instruction can be English, depending on the nationality of the participants, and a good level of English is necessary in this case.
- The training location is the Institut de la Mer de Villefranche.

At the end of the program, participants receive an attendance certificate.
