Program Overview


Master Communication et Stratégies Culturelles

The Master's program in Communication and Cultural Strategies offers a curriculum that combines the fundamentals of communication (communication plans, media, project management, strategic planning) with the discovery and learning of cultural strategies. It aims to train students in the most contemporary issues of cultural communication and the increasingly important role of culture in the communication strategies of companies, institutions, and territories.


Objectives and Competencies

The program seeks to:


  • Broaden knowledge of communication through a theoretical approach that values critical thinking.
  • Mobilize methods, concepts, and approaches in human and social sciences and information and communication sciences.
  • Analyze and understand the challenges of communication in the broad field of culture through the theories of information and communication sciences and human and social sciences.
  • Design communication strategies in organizations and structures that fall within the cultural field, thanks to a mastery of the methods and tools necessary for their implementation.
  • Anticipate and accompany the transformations of an organization in a complex environment through the development of a strategic vision of communication.
  • Understand the evolution of cultural boundaries within institutions and companies through their diversification and hybridization logics.
  • Manage cultural projects.
  • Align media and technological developments (digital and AI) with the development and diversification strategies of companies and institutions.

Target Audience and Prerequisites

The second year of the Master's program is open to professionals who wish to pursue further studies or a career transition. Prerequisites:


  • Be at least 26 years old
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (240 ECTS)

Methods and Pedagogical Means

The program consists of theoretical and professional teachings, provided by researchers in human and social sciences and information and communication sciences, as well as by professionals active in the fields and types of structures (companies, agencies, associations, administration, local authorities) that the course prepares for. The nature of the teachings is diversified to explore and implement different types of pedagogy and learning: lectures, directed work, case studies, practical cases, communication audits, etc. Research training through the realization of an individual thesis also has a significant place.
