Course Details

DALAS - DatA science, Learning and ApplicationS

The objective of this course is to present all the steps involved in data science, from acquiring and processing data to extracting information and training and evaluating statistical learning models. The course covers various concepts, including:

• Data treatment (scrapping, data quality, exploratory data analysis, visualization)
• Machine Learning (supervised and unsupervised learning)
• Restitution (dashboard, storytelling) The course emphasizes technical and experimental aspects, such as interpretation, comparison, and selection of models, result exploitation, and bias analysis, while giving less importance to theoretical aspects. This course enables students to acquire fundamental tools and good practices in data science and machine learning.
