Dalhousie University Explore Immersion Program

The Explore Immersion Program at Dalhousie University offers participants the opportunity to stay on campus in one of the residences. Generally, participants are housed in Fraser and Chapman residences. Fraser and Chapman House feature traditional single and double rooms in a dormitory-style residence.

  • Smoking, including tobacco, cannabis, and vaping, is prohibited on the Dalhousie University campus, including all residences.
  • Guests are responsible for all damages and loss of Dalhousie property (e.g., keys ($50) and conference cards ($25)).
  • Any violation of fire regulations may result in expulsion.
  • Dalhousie is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen property.
  • Pets are not allowed in residences, except for service animals.
  • Dalhousie reserves the right to expel any guest immediately due to unacceptable behavior.
  • The legal age for purchasing and consuming alcohol and cannabis in Nova Scotia is 19. If a student is under 19 and in possession of alcohol and/or cannabis, it will be confiscated under the supervision of an Explore staff member.
