Brightspace Basics
This workshop introduces attendees to the Brightspace Learning Environment, covering system navigation, course homepages, and the Content tool.
Brightspace Communications
This workshop covers the email, instant messages discussions, and chat tools, as well as the Intelligent Agents tool for sending personalized emails to students.
Brightspace Assignments
This workshop teaches users how to set up a submission folder, manage settings, grade submissions, and download/upload graded assignments.
Brightspace Quizzes
This workshop covers the Quizzes tool, including adding questions to the Question Library, setting up a randomized quiz, and advanced settings.
Brightspace Groups and Class Progress
This session introduces the groups tool, covering setting up randomized group sets, creating manual groups, and assigning students to them, as well as the class progress tool for monitoring student progress.
Brightspace Grades
This workshop covers the gradebook, including creating categories and grade items, assigning grades to students, and calculating final grades.
Panopto
Panopto is the university's lecture capture and audio/video recording, editing, and hosting software, allowing for simultaneous capture of audio, video, and applications.
Collaborate Ultra
Collaborate Ultra is a real-time video conferencing tool that lets users add files, share applications, create smaller breakout rooms, and use a virtual whiteboard to interact.
Advanced Tools
This workshop introduces advanced features and tools, including course builder, checklists, release conditions, and advanced widgets for the homepage.
