Program Overview
Environmental Sciences (BSc Agr)
The Environmental Sciences program at Dalhousie University's Faculty of Agriculture is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to analyze complex environmental issues and develop practical solutions. Program Overview
The program is offered at the Truro and Bible Hill campus, with start dates in September and January. Students can choose from various program options, including Honours, Major, and Minor in Environmental Sciences.
Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission to this program, students must meet the minimum academic criteria:
- Completion of secondary school (Grade 12)
- Achievement of the minimum average for the program of choice
- Completion of Grade 12 English (or equivalent course)
Additionally, program-specific admission requirements include:
- Minimum overall average: 75%
- Academic English 12
- Pre-calculus Math 12*
- Three additional academic subjects
*If a student does not have the appropriate pre-calculus math class, but is otherwise qualified, they may be admitted on the condition that they complete a Grade 12 pre-calculus equivalent upgrading course before arriving at Dalhousie.

- Minor in Environmental Sciences (Agriculture), available only to Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) and Bachelor of Science (Bioveterinary Science) students
