Program Overview

Course Description

The Bulk Milk Grader's Certification course provides the training necessary for both bulk milk tank drivers and dairy receivers to be licensed by the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture. This course is offered over a two-day period with a combination of theoretical and hands-on learning. Participants must achieve a 70% on both the written and grading exams to receive certification.

• Fat sampling and microbiological testing
• NS transportation of milk regulations

This course is also open to participants from New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland.
