Undergraduate Research

Undergraduate students can gain research experience by applying for an Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA). The awards provide employment in a chemistry research lab for 16 weeks through the summer.

NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Awards

The NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Awards provide undergraduate students with the opportunity to gain research experience in a chemistry research lab. The awards are available for 16 weeks during the summer.

Program Details

Undergraduate students can apply for the USRA to gain research experience while earning their degree. The application deadline for the 2026 NSERC USRA competition is January 19, 2026.
