Program Overview


International Summer School Program

The International Summer School program is a collaborative effort between Cairo University, Egypt, and the Technical University of Applied Sciences L³beck, Germany.


Program Details

  • The program will take place from April 13 to May 3, 2026.
  • It is open to postgraduate students, particularly those in Architectural Engineering with sub-specialties in Architectural Studies, Environment, and Urban Design.
  • The program is part of the Erasmus + Key Action 171 Open Call.

Required Documents

  • A copy of proof of level of registration at Cairo University, signed and stamped by the faculty.
  • A copy of the candidate's transcript of records, including their GPA for the previous year.
  • A copy of the last level certificate.
  • Learning agreement for studies, signed by the student, and signed & stamped by the home faculty.
  • A research proposal detailing thesis, scope, problem, objectives, questions, and methodology.
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency (Minimum level B2).
  • Letter of motivation explaining how this summer school is important to the student.
  • A copy of a valid passport or ID.
  • An updated CV (Maximum 2 Pages).

Application Process

  • All required documents should be sent as one clear PDF file by email.
  • The email subject should include the host university name, type of mobility, and the applicant's name and surname in English.
  • The email content should include a self-introduction, name, faculty, year, GPA, and the program applying for, along with a list of attachments.

Important Notes and Regulations

  • Signature and stamp must be on the last page (commitment part) and on the part of the responsible person at the sending institution.
  • The area of studies for the chosen mobility must be relevant to studies at the home university.
  • All applications are pre-screened by the selection committee.
  • Incomplete and late applications will be automatically discarded.
  • Deadline for application: December 13, 2025.
