Diploma of Cosmetics Program

The Diploma of Cosmetics program is a comprehensive course of study that encompasses various aspects of cosmetics, including technology, natural products, and quality control.

The program is divided into three semesters: Fall, Spring, and Summer. Each semester has a specific set of courses and requirements.


Fall Semester

  • The Fall semester includes the registration of 12 credit hours in the specialization, in addition to one hour of university requirement.
  • The courses offered in the Fall semester are:
    • Technology of Cosmetic Products (1) [3 credit hours]
    • Natural Products in Cosmetics [3 credit hours]
    • Transdermal Medical Studies [3 credit hours]
    • Microbial Quality Control of Cosmetics [3 credit hours]
    • Scientific Thinking and Research Skills [1 credit hour]

Spring Semester

  • The Spring semester includes the registration of 12 credit hours in the specialization, in addition to one hour of university requirement.
  • The courses offered in the Spring semester are:
    • Technology of Cosmetic Products (2) [3 credit hours]
    • Laws and Legislations of Cosmetics [3 credit hours]
    • Quality Control of Cosmetics [3 credit hours]
    • Miscellaneous Cosmetic and Personal Care Products [3 credit hours]
    • Research Ethics [1 credit hour]

Summer Semester

  • The Summer semester has two main components:
    • Completion of a small research project or essay [4 credit hours]
    • Spending a period in one of the hospitals, specialized centers, pharmaceutical institutions, or specialized laboratory [30 training hours]
