Pharm D Program
The Pharm D Program is designed to graduate distinguished pharmacists qualified to work in various settings, including public and private pharmacies, pharmaceutical factories, and companies. The program aims to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to practice their profession responsibly and ethically.

- Graduating a distinguished pharmacist qualified to work in public and private pharmacies, pharmaceutical factories, and companies, as well as in drug control laboratories, food analysis, media, marketing, research, and universities.
- Focusing on the role of the pharmacist in providing appropriate health care to patients inside and outside hospitals through education and advice to improve treatment results and reduce disease incidence.
- Preparing a pharmacist who uses evidence-based data to provide contemporary pharmaceutical products and services, with effective communication, leadership, management, and entrepreneurship skills.

Program Description
Academic Degree
After completing the study, the student is granted the degree of Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) according to the credit hour system.
Study Language
The study language in the program is English, although some courses may be taught in Arabic based on the recommendation of the specialized scientific department and the approval of the college and university councils.

The program's vision is centered around scientific excellence and the continuous development of the therapeutic health system.
Program Specifications
The study program is based on learning through theoretical lectures, panel discussions, practical lessons, workshops, field exercises, research, and presentation, in addition to cooperation with the surrounding community. Key specifications include:
- The number of credit hours is 172, in addition to 4 university requirement hours.
- Four elective courses (8 credit hours) are to be selected from a specified list.
- 100 hours of actual summer training, starting at the end of the third level and before the internship year.
Duration of Study
The duration of study in the program is five academic years (five levels over ten semesters) according to the credit hour system, plus one year of advanced training (excellence) in the workplace.
Admission Requirements
Admission requirements are set by the Ministry of Higher Education. Transfer between equivalent programs (national or international) is allowed, provided that all criteria set by the Ministry of Higher Education are satisfied.
Program Structure
The program structure includes:
- Five academic years divided into two semesters each (fall and spring), with the option for summer semesters for intensive study.
- A credit hour system where each credit hour is equivalent to one hour of weekly theoretical study or a practical lesson of no less than two hours per week.
- Students must fulfill 172 credit hours distributed over 10 semesters, in addition to 4 credit hours for university requirements.
- Four elective courses (8 credit hours) must be selected from a list of elective courses.
- A 100-hour summer training must be accomplished starting from level three to level five.
