The program in question is the Nanomaterials and Nanoscience program offered by the Faculty of Science at Ain Shams University.

Program Description

The program aims to prepare students with the scientific and cognitive skills necessary for innovation and creativity in the field of nanoscience. This is achieved through the use of the latest theoretical and experimental teaching methods in basic and biological sciences, as well as their applications in nanotechnology.

Program Objectives

The objectives of the program are:

• To prepare human resources with scientific and cognitive skills for innovation and creativity in the field of nanoscience.
• To put Egypt on the global map in the field of nanotechnology.
• To offer an integrated program for a bachelor's degree in the field of nanoscience, which is a new and modern field.
• To link the study and understanding of basic sciences (physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics) with their optimal use in industrial and technological applications.
• To form human resources with creative and scientific abilities to understand and keep up with the latest sciences and technologies of the age.
• To meet the needs of the labor market and the required skills and knowledge locally and regionally.
• To graduate students with a bachelor's degree in science that is of international quality and enables them to compete for further studies abroad.
• To create an educational system that can support and develop itself economically.
• To apply quality education standards by adopting a study system that takes into account full academic supervision of students and ensuring the activation of the office hours system for faculty members and academic supervision, as well as providing programs to support struggling and outstanding students and providing laboratory and academic facilities.
• To contribute to achieving the college's mission, which is to provide specialized professional programs that meet national needs and work on developing and updating its programs to keep pace with the changing needs of society and to keep up with progress in the branches of modern sciences.
