Study System

The instructional language is English, and the study system uses credit hours with various delivery methods, including:

• Seminars: Interactive Lecture
• Special Seminar: Interactive Lecture
• Practicum (which includes lab work and exercises)
• Fieldwork
• Zemi research guidance

Admission Policy

To achieve its goals, the program seeks recent graduates, practitioners, and scholars who want to gain an education based on applied and scientific skills and to enhance their knowledge and abilities. This preparation is for further graduate studies or a career in Heritage Science, either as a specialist in a specific subject or as a generalist with broad knowledge and a better understanding of various aspects of Heritage Science.

The program admits students who are motivated to work in a multidisciplinary team with respect to ethics, cultural diversity, and social responsibility, and who possess satisfactory communication and academic skills. Students should be willing to:

• Discuss and promote the philosophy of heritage and heritage science as a discipline
• Add value to the community
• Learn independently and effectively to investigate problems, develop solutions, generate ideas, innovate, and improve current practices
• Demonstrate a foundation for future leadership roles as well as enthusiasm and enjoyment for their studies and work
• Promote a clear understanding of work responsibilities, ethics, and effective working standards
• Demonstrate an ability to adapt to changing values and contribute to the sustainable development of the region and international efforts upon graduation

Study Length

The student can complete the master's degree program and obtain the degree within at least two academic years (4 main semesters) and no more than three academic years (6 main semesters). The student can complete the Ph.D. degree program and earn the Ph.D. within at least three academic years (6 main semesters) and no more than five academic years (10 main semesters). Any extension of the study duration should be approved according to the regulations of E-JUST.
