Introduction to the Egyptian Russian University Programs

The Egyptian Russian University offers a variety of programs and activities aimed at community development and academic excellence. One such program is the Children's University, which focuses on discovering and developing the skills of distinguished children in different educational stages.

Children's University Program

The Children's University program continued its activities on campus, under the auspices of Prof. Sherif Fakhry, president of the University. The program included courses on environment and energy, as well as arts, taught to children of the fifth and sixth grades.

Environment and Energy Course

The environment and energy course was taught by Dr. Omar Abd El-Aziz, a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering. The course discussed environmental factors that affect life on Earth, how to preserve nature to achieve sustainable development, and how to reduce emissions that negatively affect the environment. Dr. Abd El-Aziz also explained the sources of environmental energy in a simple way.

Arts Course

The arts course was presented by the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University, with the aim of stimulating the creative energies and aesthetic view of children. The course was taught by the assistant lecturer Yomna Sherif, the teaching assistant Nadim Mohamed, and a team from the college. The children learned how to mediate and see all that is beautiful, and express it in creative images that blend imagination with reality. They also drew and painted landscapes in innovative ways.

Sustainable Development and Waste Recycling

As part of the program, the children made a bag of newspapers and decorated it using the "collage" technique, to strengthen the idea of sustainable development and waste recycling, and to raise awareness of the importance of preserving the environment.

Faculty of Engineering Graduation Projects

The Faculty of Engineering at the Egyptian Russian University announced the most important graduation projects for students during the academic year. The university celebrated the graduation of a new batch of engineering students from Izhevsk State Technical University of Russia (ISTU), within the framework of the program between the two universities to obtain a double degree.

Research and Innovation

The Egyptian Russian University is committed to research and innovation, with various initiatives and centers, including the ERU Science & Innovation Center of Excellence, SICE, and the Entrepreneurship Club. The university also publishes research papers and has a global ranking.
