Introduction to the Children's University Program

The Egyptian Russian University, in cooperation with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, hosts the activities of the Children's University Program. This program is part of the country's effort to develop children's capabilities and encourage them to work and innovate in order to implement "Egypt Vision 2030".

Program Overview

The Children's University program is one of the Academy of Scientific Research's projects, under the patronage of Dr. Mahmoud Saqr, President of the Academy, and supervised by Dr. Gina Elfeki, the Executive Director of the Child University at the Academy. The program aims to provide children with a comprehensive education in various fields, including health, science, physics, mathematics, entrepreneurship, Egyptology, fine arts, computer science, energy, and environmental sciences.

Program Structure

The program is divided into two stages:

• The first stage includes two levels, where students study all specializations.
• The second stage, which extends for four years, allows students to specialize based on their inclinations.

Eligibility and Tuition

Children can start studying at the Children's University from the age of 9 to 15 years. The program is free of charge, with the university and the academy bearing the full tuition fees.

Teaching Methods

The university provides a suitable environment for students, including suitable rooms for explanation and group work, to train them on teamwork and presentation of scientific material in various ways, such as using interactive screens, displaying videos, and practical application of information through practical activities.

Sample Courses and Activities

The program includes a variety of courses and activities, such as:

• Introduction to the basics of physics and mathematics through interesting activities.
• Topics related to developing creativity, new ideas, brainstorming, and various activities.

Program Schedule

The process of teaching the rest of the fields for the previous stage has been completed, and the study for the new stage will start during the second half of the academic year and during the end of the year vacation.
