Admission Requirements

The current admission requirements are for the academic year 2025.

• The admission requirements vary based on the high school certificate.
• For Thanaweya Amma, the minimum requirement is 53%, with an IELTS score of 4.5, TOEFL score of 34, PTE Academic score of 23, or Duolingo score of 65.
• For IGCSE, the minimum requirement is 5 OL subjects or 5 OL subjects and one AS/AL or 8 OL subjects, grades from A to C, with an IELTS score of 4.5, TOEFL score of 34, PTE Academic score of 23, or Duolingo score of 65.
• For American Diploma, the minimum requirement is a GPA of 2.0 in 8 subjects, with an IELTS score of 4.5, TOEFL score of 34, PTE Academic score of 23, or Duolingo score of 65.
• For Canadian Diploma, the minimum requirement is an overall score of 60% (A to C), with an IELTS score of 4.5, TOEFL score of 34, PTE Academic score of 23, or Duolingo score of 65.
• For French Baccalaureate, the minimum requirement is 7 subjects overall score 10/20, with an IELTS score of 4.5, TOEFL score of 34, PTE Academic score of 23, or Duolingo score of 65.

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees for Egyptian students are as follows:

• Category A: 250,000 EGP per year
• Category B: 260,000 EGP per year
• Category C: 270,000 EGP per year
• Standard fees: 300,000 EGP per year The tuition fees for international students are 13,500 GBP per year.

• On-campus payment: cash, certified cheque, or credit card
• Bank deposit or transfer

Scholarship

Scholarships are available for students based on their academic performance.

• Merit scholarship: 50% scholarship for highly distinguished students, maintained with a minimum cumulative GPA of 4.25
• Future Leaders scholarship: 50-100% of tuition fees, awarded to outstanding individuals
• Sports scholarship: 50-100% of tuition fees, awarded to outstanding athletes
• Sibling discount: 10% tuition fee discount for students with siblings already enrolled at UH-GAF
• STEM scholarship: awarded to students based on their academic performance in STEM fields
• Direct Entry scholarship: awarded to students who meet the direct entry requirements

English Language Requirements

The English language requirements for admission are as follows:

• IELTS: overall score of 4.5, with a minimum of 4 in every band
• TOEFL: score of 34
• PTE Academic: score of 23
• Duolingo: minimum score of 65

Refund Policy

The refund policy is as follows:

• Withdrawal before start of classes: total fees may be refunded excluding 30,000 EGP
• After start of classes: no refund is approved
• Students who were awarded a merit scholarship and request withdrawal after one or more semesters of enrollment: the withdrawal policy applies to them
• Fees paid to cover student tuition may not be transferred to another student
• Deposit paid by a student who did not enroll may be transferred from one session to the following for the same student

English Enhancement Course (EEC)

The English Enhancement Course (EEC) is a condensed English course that lasts for one or two semesters.

• The course caters to the basics of General English and addresses all four skills of reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
• The course prepares students for the IELTS test and other proficiency tests.
• The course costs 50,000 EGP per semester.
• Students with IELTS scores below 4, TOEFL scores of 30-31, or PTE scores of 23 are eligible to register for EEC.
