Terms and Conditions
- Tuition fees' categories (Category A, B, and C) are based on academic performance.
- Tuition fees can be paid over two installments.
- Tuitions fees are subject to an annual increase of up to 15%.
- Non-academic fees and lab fees are subject to annual review.
- Fees for module retake are calculated based on multiplying the number of credits of by the charge of credit per hour.
- Students who are admitted to the university and awarded a merit scholarship shall maintain the same category of tuition fees upon completing 120 credits and achieve a minimum CUMULATIVE GPA of 4.0/4.5 at the end of the respective academic year.
- Students who received forced suspension decision as a result of Academic misconduct or Non-Academic misconduct will NOT be exempted from paying their financial dues for the whole academic year regardless of the period of the forced suspension.

How to Apply

English Language Requirements
- Having difficulties passing the English proficiency test?
- The University of Hertfordshire in Egypt is offering an English Enhancement Course (EEC) which will enhance English skills and support students to pass the English proficiency test.
English Enhancement Course (EEC)
- English Enhancement Course (EEC) is a condensed English course that lasts for one/two semesters during which students meet five days a week on a full schedule for a total of 336 hours.
- The course caters towards the basics of General English and addresses all four skills of reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- The course also prepares the student for the IELTS test and other proficiency tests.
- The course costs 50,000 EGP per semester.
Direct Entry (Level 4)
- English Requirements: High School Requirements (UCAS points 120)
- Direct Entry (Level 4) is not available at the moment for this program.
UH-GAF Progression
- Progression Requirements: From IFP to Level 4
- Students are expected to meet the following requirements in the International Foundation Programme (IFP) to progress to Level 4:
- Achieve a grade of 50% or more in Engineering Maths 2.
- Achieve a grade of 50% or more in Engineering Science 2.
- Achieve a grade of 40% or more in all other modules.
Refund Policy
- I. Application Fee: 1,500 EGP non-refundable application fee is to be paid once.
- II. Refund Policy for Early Bird Admission:
- Provisional Admissions Refund Statement
- A Non-refundable early bird deposit is paid by the provisionally accepted students to secure their slot in the requested major within the coming session 2025 -2026.
- This gives the university administrators an indication with regards to the number of students accepting our offer to plan for the coming classes in terms of tutoring and facilities.
- However, a student may be eligible for a 50% refund of the early bird deposit if and only if, his/her academic qualifications (English language requirement and/or secondary school average) do not meet the minimum requirements of UH-GAF.
- The refund request should be submitted to UH-GAF Student Affairs prior to September 1st.
- Please note that no refund for the early bird deposit is accepted after the final acceptance or in case of no show.
- A. New Students & Returning Students:
- Withdrawal before start of classes, total fees may be refunded excluding 30,000 EGP.
- After the start of classes, no refund is approved.
- Students who were awarded a merit scholarship and request withdrawal after one or more semesters of enrollment, the withdrawal policy applies to them.
- Students who were granted any scholarships or discounts are required to refund it back to the University in order to complete their withdrawal process.
- Fees paid to cover the student tuition may not be transferred to another student (sibling or else)
- Deposit paid by a student who did not enroll may be transferred from one session to the following for the same student (only applicable on session in the same academic year)
- Any other deposits or payments made by students, including external registration charges, books, deposits/charges for field trips, transportation fees etc., are non-refundable.
- Any other irregularities will be discussed by a committee for decisions.
- B. Retake:
- Student pays the number of credit hours multiplied by the charge per hour as per the announced tuition fees in the repeating year.
- After first day of classes, no refund is approved.
