Program Overview

BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering Program

The BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in electrical and electronic engineering.

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees for the BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering program are as follows:

• Category A: Egyptian Student - 285,000 EGP per year
• Category B: Egyptian Student - 295,000 EGP per year
• Category C: Egyptian Student - 305,000 EGP per year
• Standard Fees: Egyptian Student - 330,000 EGP per year
• International Students: 13,500 GBP per year

Payment Terms

• Tuition fees can be paid over two installments.
• A 5% penalty will be incurred on the remaining unsettled fees if payment is made after the deadline.
• Enrollment certificates and requested documents will be put on hold until all payments are settled.
• Students who fail to pay their fees within three weeks of the deadline will be withdrawn from the university.

Miscellaneous Fees

The following miscellaneous fees apply:

• Non-academic fees: EGP 15,000 / 500 GBP
• Lab fees: EGP 12,500 / 500 GBP
• Lab fees (business): EGP 7,500 / 250 GBP
• Application fees: EGP 1,500
• Deposit fees: EGP 40,000 / 1350 GBP
• Lab fees insurance: EGP 10,000 / 250 GBP
• Transfer fees from another university: EGP 10,000 / 250 GBP
• Referral exam: EGP 5,000 / 200 GBP
• Enrollment/Certificate/Official Transcript/Official Document: 1,000 EGP for national students and 25 GBP for international students
• Placement Referral Fees:
  • MPharm: EGP 15,000 / 500 GBP for international students per round
  • Physiotherapy: EGP 10,000 / 400 GBP for international students per round

Terms and Conditions

• Tuition fees' categories are based on academic performance.
• Tuition fees are subject to an annual increase of up to 15%.
• Non-academic fees and lab fees are subject to annual review.
• Fees for module retake are calculated based on multiplying the number of credits by the charge of credit per hour.
• Students who are admitted to the university and awarded a merit scholarship shall maintain the same category of tuition fees upon completing 120 credits and achieving a minimum cumulative GPA of 4.0/4.5 at the end of the respective academic year.

Available payment options include:

• On Campus: Cash, certified cheque, credit card
• Credits: Bank deposit, bank transfer

Transportation Subscription Policy

• Subscription deadline: 20 September 2025
• Payment terms: The transportation fee is a one-time annual subscription, which can be paid in two installments (60% as the first installment and 40% as the second installment).
• Refund policy: Transportation fees are non-refundable, regardless of whether the service is used or not.
• Coverage: The subscription covers the regular academic year only and does not include referral/deferral examination periods.
• A 10% sibling discount will be applied to one of the siblings (the second sibling).
