Program Overview

DBA Program

The German University in Cairo seeks to attract DBA applicants with strong potential for managerial research. Admission to the DBA program is competitive and rests on the following criteria:

Requirements

• Masters (MBA, MA, MSc) degree with a thesis in management with an overall GPA of B+ or better.
• A minimum of five working years at a managerial level.
• Satisfactory performance on the GUC Management Aptitude Test or the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).
• Satisfactory performance in the interview.

Admission Steps

Students are accepted twice a year; winter and spring semesters. Students' matriculate in the program in cohorts. The maximum size of the cohort is 25 students.

1. Application to be filled.
2. Application will be prescreened and if the applicant fulfills the admission requirements, he/she will receive an invitation to attend the GUC Management Aptitude Test.
3. If the applicant passes the Management Aptitude Test, he/she will reach the final admission stage. He/she will be invited to an interview at GUC premises.

• The applicant must bring all documents mentioned below:
  • Certified copy of undergraduate Certificate.
  • Certified copy of graduate Certificate.
  • Curriculum vitae.
  • Two passport-sized photos.
  • HR letter documenting working experience.
  • Copy of National ID & Passport.

4. The applicants who pass the interview stage are sent an acceptance to join the program and attend a preliminary orientation session.
