International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) Program Arab States 2026

The German Embassy in Cairo invites politically engaged young university graduates from Egypt to apply for the IPS program 2026.

Program Details

• Period: 1 September 2026 until 30 September 2026
• Location: Berlin, German Federal Day
• Program components:
  • Four-week compact program on the German parliamentary system
  • One-week internship with a member of the German Bundestag
  • Workshops and seminars on democracy, history, culture, and society
  • Insights into political decision-making processes

Eligibility Criteria

• Egyptian citizenship
• Under 35 years old as of 1 September 2026
• Completed university studies
• Good knowledge of German (at least B2 level)
• Interest in politics and social engagement

Scholarship Benefits

• Monthly promotion of 700 euros
• Accepting costs for medical, accident, and liability insurance
• Free accommodation in Berlin
• Reimbursement of travel expenses
