- The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Hamdan Ibrahim Mahmoud, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Dr. Ahmed Salah Mohamed Hussein, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Atef Abdel Mohsen Abdel Rahman, Executive Director of the Training Unit.
Course Objectives and Structure
- The two-day course aims to enhance participants' technical skills and knowledge in modern irrigation methods, with a focus on drip irrigation.
- The training is led by Dr. Ahmed Hussam El-Din Hamza, Lecturer in the Department of Soils at the Faculty of Agriculture, Minia University.
- Comprising 12 training hours, the program integrates theoretical lectures and practical exercises covering all aspects of drip irrigation network design and implementation.
- Topics range from selecting suitable land for such systems to identifying the most compatible crops for drip irrigation.
