Program Overview

The Open Legal Education Program is designed to provide opportunities for individuals who did not have the chance to pursue higher education through traditional means. The program aims to offer continuous education, provide educational services to those seeking to enhance their scientific and cultural levels, and deliver educational services in a flexible and convenient manner.

Degrees Offered

The Open Legal Education Program, affiliated with the Faculty of Law at Menoufia University, grants the student a Bachelor of Laws degree after successfully completing all the courses prescribed by the program.


Admission Requirements

  • Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent, or a technical diploma, or one of the recognized university certificates.
  • Have completed at least five years since obtaining the high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Non-Egyptian students are accepted according to the conditions set by the Board of Directors of Open Education at the university, based on the proposal of the Board of Directors of the Legal Education Program at the college.

Study System

  • The study days in the program are Fridays and Saturdays of each week.
  • The duration of study is eight academic semesters over four years, and the college council determines the subjects taught in each course after taking the opinion of the relevant department council.
  • The duration of study in each academic semester is fifteen weeks.
  • The student studies at least three courses and a maximum of six courses in each academic semester, except for the summer semester, which does not exceed three courses.

Program Structure

The program is designed to be flexible, allowing students to complete their studies over four years, with the option to take a minimum of three and a maximum of six courses per semester. The summer semester has a maximum of three courses. This structure enables students to balance their academic pursuits with other responsibilities, making it an attractive option for those who require flexibility in their study schedule.
