Research and Community Service

The university is committed to research and community service, with a focus on building the capacities of young researchers in various research areas and providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills to conduct laboratory experiments in a safe and efficient manner.

Training Program

The university has launched a summer training program for safety and biosecurity in laboratories for young researchers, which includes a package of lectures and workshops on biological safety, personal safety requirements for researchers, and emergency response plans. The program is designed to enhance the quality of research outputs and to provide young researchers with the necessary skills and knowledge to work safely in laboratories.

Target Group

The target group for the program is young researchers at Benha University, including demonstrators and teaching assistants at the university's colleges. The program will be launched in several batches, with the first batch starting in July. The training will be provided by specialized professors with experience from Benha University and other research institutions.
