New Program in Agriculture

A new master's program in arid land agriculture has been approved by the university council, headed by Dr. El-Sayed El-Qadi. This program aims to meet the demand for such studies, especially with the government's direction to reclaim 5.1 million acres of land and the increasing demand from Arab countries with vast areas of arable land.

The university president requested the dean of the College of Agriculture to complete the program's requirements and prepare a feasibility study for the program's establishment, ensuring the availability of specialized faculty members. The program will be presented to the relevant committees of the Supreme Council of Universities once the college completes the necessary paperwork.
