The Scenography program offers a comprehensive and practice-oriented education. Students explore scenographic history, theory, and contemporary applications, while engaging with traditional and experimental performance spaces. They gain hands-on experience through model-making, technical drawing, and digital software that support the design and realization of immersive stage settings.


This unique program empowers students with a deep understanding of the cultural, emotional, and symbolic dimensions of scenography, preparing them to become creative professionals who shape visual storytelling in the performing and visual arts sectors, both locally and internationally.


Skill Development

Graduates of the Scenography program are prepared for careers in scenographic design for theatre, cinema, and television. They can work as set designers, lighting designers, costume designers, or visual consultants in performing arts institutions, production companies, cultural events, exhibitions, and festivals. Their training also qualifies them for roles in immersive environment design, artistic direction, and visual storytelling across diverse creative platforms.


Graduates will be prepared to take on roles within companies and institutions such as:


  1. Scenic and Production Designer for theater, cinema, and television, including costume, lighting, and special effects design.
  2. Cultural and Artistic Event Designer, contributing to festivals, exhibitions, and interdisciplinary performance spaces.
  3. Interactive and Immersive Experience Creator, working in virtual reality, augmented reality, and digital scenographic environments.
  4. Independent Artistic Practitioner, founding scenography studios or engaging in educational, therapeutic, or community-based spatial experiences.

Admission Requirements

Academic Prerequisites:


  • Egyptian Thanaweya Amma: Any track – علمي علوم / علمي رياضه / أدبي.
  • American Diploma: 8 subjects incl. English + 7 approved subjects + SAT/ACT/EST.
  • Canadian Diploma: 8 subjects from Grades 11 & 12 incl. English + 7 approved subjects.
  • French Baccalaureate: 7 subjects with Math in the terminal year.
  • IGCSE: 8 O-Level subjects incl. English + 7 approved subjects.
  • International Baccalaureate: 6 subjects incl. English + Theory of Knowledge & Extended Essay.
  • Nile Certificate (CNISE): 7 L1 subjects incl. Arabic, English, and Math.
  • Abitur: 7 subjects incl. English + 6 approved subjects.
  • Arab's Thanaweya: Any track – علمي علوم / علمي رياضه / أدبي + Qudrat or transcripts.
