Course Description

The Community Health Nursing Department offers a comprehensive course in community health nursing, focusing on the development of strategies for illness prevention and health improvement in various community health nursing practice settings.

Course Objectives

At the end of this course, graduates should be able to:

• Determine the determinants of health and principles of different levels of prevention for different age groups and settings.
• Apply principles of nursing management of common and life-threatening problems in different age groups.
• Utilize principles and concepts of health education, leadership/management, and research.
