Program Overview

The German Language Translation Program is a four-year program that operates on a point system. The program has established and announced criteria and procedures for admission, which are reviewed and updated annually to reflect new developments and variables.

Admission Criteria

The following students are eligible to join the program:

• Students who are enrolled in the College of Arts at Sohag University.
• Students who have failed or been transferred from other colleges to the College of Arts.
• Students who have failed in different departments of the college and have the right to repeat or transfer to other departments.
• Students who have been transferred from other similar institutions after matching the regulations of those institutions with the program's regulations.
• Students who are already enrolled in the program can transfer to similar institutions after meeting the requirements of those institutions.
• Graduates who have obtained a Bachelor's degree in German Language and Literature from the College of Arts or Education can be accepted into the program, but they will not be exempt from studying any courses they have previously taken.

Program Requirements

• The total number of hours required to graduate from the program is 133.
• The tuition fee for the program is 100 pounds per credit hour.
