Program Overview
The General Administration for Organization and Administration at Sohag University organized a training program titled "Protocol and Etiquette Management." The program aimed to develop the skills of university administrative staff, achieve quality in administrative processes, and promote personal development.
Program Objectives
The program focused on protocol and etiquette, personal skill development, and the preparation of human resources. It covered topics such as:
- Organizing official visits, conferences, and meetings
- Receiving high-ranking officials and delegations
- Effective communication with different personalities
- Crisis management with high-ranking officials
- Building trust and respect in relationships
Program Details
The training program was held at the Human Resources Development Center in the old university campus and lasted for two days. Twenty-nine trainees from the administrative staff participated, including employees from the president's office, public relations department, media center, vice-presidents' offices, deans' offices, and the university hospital.
Program Content
The program covered the basics of etiquette, including:
- Dress code and appearance in official events
- Greeting and handshake etiquette
- Effective communication skills: body language, voice, and gaze
- Steps to organize an event from idea to implementation
- Identifying targets and audience, types of high-ranking officials, and their characteristics
Program Instructors
The program was presented by Dr. Sahar Muhammad Wahbi and Dr. Asmaa Ashry Barei from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Media.
