Program Description

The Computer Engineering program at the Safwa Higher Institute of Engineering aims to prepare graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to compete in the local and regional job market. The program focuses on producing research that contributes to the dissemination of innovation, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility, within the framework of human values and ethics.

Program Objectives

The program objectives are:

1. To train graduates to apply mathematical, scientific, and engineering concepts to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems.
2. To train graduates to use modern engineering techniques, skills, and tools necessary for smart computers.
3. To prepare graduates to use artificial intelligence methods to solve complex problems.
4. To train graduates to use suitable software and specialized tools in all stages of system development and to achieve acceptable quality standards in software development.
5. To build graduates' skills in evaluating the characteristics and performance of computer system components and processes.
6. To develop graduates' skills in designing and conducting experiments, analyzing and interpreting results.
7. To prepare graduates to manage computer system projects that are subject to economic, environmental, and social constraints.
8. To prepare graduates to work efficiently within multidisciplinary teams and to communicate effectively.
9. To develop graduates' skills in creative and critical thinking in problem-solving.
