Program Overview


Introduction to the University Program

The University Senghor in Alexandria is launching a call for applications for a certified training program in "Health - Environment".


Presentation

This training aims to equip professionals in the fields concerned with a better evaluation of environmental risks and their impact on health. The environment, as a major determinant of human health, is undergoing increasing pressure due to climate change, pollution, degradation of ecosystems, and erosion of biodiversity. These complex and interdependent transformations represent a significant challenge for societies, especially since the lack of qualified human resources remains a major obstacle.


Objectives

The certificate in "Health - Environment" has been designed to strengthen the capacities of executives and specialists in public health and the environment. Participants will acquire practical skills in assessing the state of environments, characterizing environmental and health risks, and developing monitoring devices for the impacts of environmental factors on health.


Target Audience

The training is primarily aimed at:


  • Executives specialized in public health/epidemiology
  • Specialists in occupational health
