Program Overview


Master in Economic Analysis and Policy

The University of Senghor, in partnership with the National School of Financial Management (ENAREF) in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, offers a Master's program in Economic Analysis and Policy.


Presentation

The implementation of national emergence plans requires profound reforms of the socio-economic and political structures of African countries. This master's program aims to train high-level officials and executives capable of responding to the specific needs of Africa in this field.


Objectives

The program's general objective is to provide participants with:


  • Practical skills in formulating, piloting, and evaluating economic policies
  • Transversal skills in managing economic policies, leadership, and teamwork
  • Professional tools, keys, and methods to adapt to various situations in the African context

Target Audience

This master's program is open to all officials from public, parapublic, and private administrations in charge of formulating and managing economic policies, without distinction of nationality or sex.


Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the first year (M1), candidates must hold a validated degree in economics or management (Bac + 3). For the second year (M2), candidates must have successfully completed the first year or hold a validated degree in economics or management (Bac + 4). Admission is also possible through validation of professional and personal experience (VAPP) with at least three years of experience for candidates holding a Bac + 3 degree.


Duration and Tuition Fees

The program lasts two years (four semesters) for M1 candidates and one year (two semesters) for M2 candidates. Tuition fees are 1,200,000 FCFA for the first year and 1,500,000 FCFA for the second year, payable in three installments.
