Program Overview


Doctoral School in African Development

Senghor University inaugurated an interdisciplinary doctoral school focused on African development in 2022. This school aims to promote multidisciplinary scientific exchanges, debates of ideas, the emergence of innovations and projects in collaboration with actors and decision-makers, both public and private, of African development.


Objectives and Training

Since its creation, two promotions have been selected: the first cohort, made up of six doctoral students in 2022, and the second cohort, comprising three doctoral students in 2023. The doctoral students benefit from face-to-face training at Senghor University in Alexandria, designed to guide and support doctoral students in their research. The training covers topics such as:


  • Research ethics
  • Bibliographic and documentary research
  • Use of Google Workspace tools
  • Presentation techniques
