Program Mission

The mission of the Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics program is to qualify and develop the capabilities of cybersecurity and digital forensics personnel equipped with the latest knowledge and skills according to the best academic and professional standards in the field of cybersecurity and digital forensics, through providing distinguished and motivating educational and training services for excellence and innovation.


Program Objectives

  1. Provide students with the latest scientific and practical knowledge and skills in the field of cybersecurity and digital forensics.
  2. Prepare qualified graduates able to deal with cyberattacks and minimize their impact using the latest technologies and distinguished in the local and regional labor market.
  3. Create an educational environment according to academic accreditation standards to develop leadership skills, self-learning, and teamwork among students and motivate them to implement innovative cybersecurity projects.
  4. Update the study plan for the program to keep pace with scientific developments in the field of cybersecurity and digital forensics and the needs of the labor market.
  5. Provide awareness lectures, security consultations, digital forensics, and applied research in the field of cybersecurity and digital forensics, which enhances the role of the department and the university in serving the community.

University Overview

The university is a privately owned educational institution officially licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It started its activities in 2004 as the University Institute for Medical Specializations, and then the name of Al-Hikma College was added in 2007 for technical and administrative specializations, licensed by the Ministry of Public Health and Population and the Ministry of Technical and Vocational Training, respectively.
