Overview

The Biology Department awards a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree. The study plan is designed to include 133 credit hours, consisting of eight semesters (in total four years of study). The courses include university requirements, faculty requirements, and major requirements, as well as major elective courses. The curriculum and study plan meet the minimum requirements to develop professional biologists and prepare graduates to become qualified biology practitioners, specialists in their respective areas of specialization, and successful in competitive business environments. In this program, students gain broad and extensive foundational skills in biological sciences.
