Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree accepted by The Ministry of Education (MOE) in physics of radiation or material, biophysics, radiology, radiation technology or therapy, biomedical engineering, and medicine.
  • Academic Performance: Minimum GPA: A "Good" grade or equivalent in your undergraduate degree
  • English Proficiency: Acceptable tests and scores include:
    • IELTS (Academic): 5.5 or higher
    • TOEFL iBT: 65 or higher
    • STEP: 80 or higher
  • Letter of Recommendation: From a professor or workplace supervisor
  • Interview: An interview may be requested as part of the application process.

Scholarships Available

Alfaisal University provides thesis scholarship up to 50% for thesis programs only. Requirements and conditions include:


  • Cumulative GPA (3.00 out of 4.00 and above) by the end of the first academic year.
  • Full payment of the total tuition fees (100,000 SAR) by the end of the first academic year.
