The Bachelor of Laws program is designed to meet the need for contemporary legal and legislative studies that cater to the needs of our community and reflect its development, highlighting the uniqueness of our Islamic culture and identity.

Program Objectives

• Refurbish the Saudi job market with qualified legal competencies equipped with modern legal knowledge, capable of keeping pace with social, economic, and technological developments.
• Refine the legal research skills of students to enable them to compete in the job market and serve the community.
• Graduate national cadres qualified and capable of preparing systems and regulations, drafting and interpreting contracts, and analyzing legal texts.
• Prepare a generation of graduates capable of providing legal consultations and pleading before courts of various degrees and judicial committees.
• Instill integrity and professional and academic values in students when dealing with practical and research issues.

Characteristics of Graduates

• Deep knowledge of the law: A person with in-depth knowledge of concepts, theories, and principles related to laws and legislation.
• Creativity and innovation in problem-solving: A person with high efficiency in analyzing facts, critical thinking, and the ability to reach creative solutions to complex legal problems, using them to serve their community.
• Effective communication: A person able to use various technical skills to communicate efficiently, manage discussion and negotiation objectively, and plead effectively and efficiently before all judicial authorities.
• Initiative, leadership, and cooperation spirit: A person who initiates the implementation of solutions to any difficulties encountered during work, assumes responsibility, is able to lead, and works effectively within a team and cooperates.
• Pride in national identity: A person who is proud of their Saudi identity, acts in accordance with Islamic values and beliefs.
• Lifelong learning and adaptability: A person seeking continuous self-development, able to adapt to developments in the field of law.

Curriculum

The curriculum is designed to qualify students and inform them about specialized legal knowledge on one hand, and legal knowledge created by state-issued systems and international conventions on the other. This prepares graduates and ensures they have the necessary scientific qualification to practice judiciary, consultation, advocacy, and various investigative bodies' functions.
