Course Description
Economy of Manufacturing

The course is designed to provide an understanding of traditional and contemporary methods of costing and pricing products. It covers the examination of accounting practices for recording and controlling materials, labor, and overhead costs, as well as activity-based costing (ABC). The course also explores break-even analysis, cost-benefit analysis, performance measurement, and financial data of companies. Additionally, it includes the analysis of variance for standard costs. The objective of this course is to provide students with an understanding of the elements of production cost and the basics and principles of cost control systems in manufacturing and service institutions.
