About the College of Medicine

The College of Medicine has several programs and requirements for admission.

Admission Requirements

The admission requirements for the college are as follows:


High School Graduates (Saudi Curriculum)

  • The applicant must have a high school diploma in the scientific track.
  • The applicant must have achievement and aptitude test results.
  • Students with less than 80% in high school, or less than 65 in aptitude, or less than 70 in achievement cannot join the medicine or dentistry program.

High School Graduates (International Curriculum)

  • The applicant must have a high school diploma, including science subjects, attested by the relevant ministry.
  • The British curriculum: The O-level academic record must include biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, and English. The A-level or AS-level academic record must include biology and chemistry/physics. The high school diploma must not be more than five years old.

Diploma Holders (Bridging Students)

  • Diploma holders are accepted in all programs except the human medicine program.
  • The applicant must join the program that they completed their diploma in.
  • An applicant with a three-year diploma or more is accepted in the third year of the program.
  • An applicant with a diploma of less than three years is accepted in the second year of the program.
  • Requirements:
    • High school diploma
    • Diploma and academic record
    • Professional accreditation certificate from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (valid)
    • Approval from the employer to study (if the applicant is an employee in the government or private sector)
    • TOEFL or IELTS certificate, or English language proficiency test, as shown in the following table:
      • TOEFL paper-based test
      • TOEFL computer-based test
      • IELTS test
      • English language proficiency test

Transfer Students from Other Colleges or Universities

  • Transfer students from other colleges or universities are accepted in all college programs.
  • Requirements:
    • High school diploma
    • Academic record
    • Course description of the courses completed by the applicant
