Department of Nursing
The Nursing Program was established in 1428 H under the umbrella of The Applied Medical Sciences College at Buraydah private colleges. The program aims to achieve the highest levels of competitiveness and professional competence for graduates to develop healthcare and service locally.

The Nursing program seeks to prepare qualified graduates to meet labor market demands and achieve community partnership in accordance with national quality standards.
Program Goals
- Prepare students with the ability to integrate knowledge, skills, and values to provide safe, ethical, evidence-based, and patient-centered nursing care to diverse populations.
- Provide the healthcare industry with competent professional nurses, capable of decision-making and taking responsibility.
- Develop the skills of faculty members and distinguished workforce while providing them with professional development opportunities.
- Expand scientific research activities among staff and students by engaging in interdisciplinary and community-based research.
- Enhance social responsibility and belonging among students by involving them in providing effective community services.
- Improve the health delivery system using advanced technology to enhance the community's health status for unifying the efforts of nursing leaders, educators, and practitioners toward nursing transformation according to The Saudi Vision 2030.
Entry Requirements
- The student has a high school diploma (medical sciences) or its equivalent from inside or outside the kingdom.
- He must not have passed his secondary school certificate or its equivalent for a period of more than five years.
- The specialization should be an extension of his previous specialization in the diploma stage, and his general grade should not be less than good.
- To successfully pass any personal interview or test.
- To be medically fit.
- To obtain approval from his employer to study, if he works in any party.
- He must not have been dismissed from any other university or college for an academic or disciplinary course.
- Submit the necessary documents required by the college admission and registration unit.
- Fill out the registration form.
- Admission is made through students' differentiation according to the rates and conditions required to enroll in the major.

Study Plan for the Program
The four-year program is designed with eight semesters and an internship of one year (12 months). The program provides various support services for students, including orientation activities, library services, laboratory support, academic advising, career guidance, psychological counseling, and cafeteria.
