Program Overview

The Diploma in Customs program was established on April 20, 2016.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the program, students must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Administrative Sciences, or an equivalent degree from a recognized university.
• The college council may accept students with a Bachelor's degree in a non-related field, provided they complete additional courses as determined by the department.

Program Structure

The program consists of 30 credited hours, divided into:

• 24 credited hours of core courses
• 6 credited hours of elective courses

Core Courses

The following core courses are required:

1. Customs Tariff (in English) - 3 credited hours
2. Evaluation for Customs Purposes - 3 credited hours
3. Customs Procedures - 3 credited hours
4. International Transport and Shipping Economics - 3 credited hours
5. Contemporary Customs Issues - 3 credited hours
6. E-Commerce - 3 credited hours

Elective Courses

The following elective courses are available:

1. Non-Customs Taxes and Fees - 3 credited hours
2. Customs Legislation - 3 credited hours
3. International Commercial Arbitration - 3 credited hours
4. Financial Policies - 3 credited hours
5. Port and Customs Management - 3 credited hours
6. Research Seminars - 3 credited hours
