Program Overview


The Professional Master Program for Companies Management

The Professional Master Program for Companies Management is a collaborative effort between Alexandria University and the University of Poitiers, offered in the French language through distance education.


Requirements for Admission

To be accepted into the program, students must meet the following requirements:


  • Meet the graduate enrollment requirements of the Faculty of Commerce, Alexandria University, except for the attendance percentage condition.
  • Pass the admission test held at one of the Francophone University Agency centers and proofread by the Institute d'Administration des Entreprises de Poitiers.
  • Complete the master registration file, which will be assessed by both universities.
  • Register in the Faculty of Commerce, Alexandria University, and the Institute d'Administration des Entreprises (IAE) after succeeding in the admission test and paying tuition fees.

Conditions to Obtain the Degree

To obtain the degree, students must:


  1. Complete 60 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credit hours, distributed across 9 academic courses (divided into sub-units or modules) as specified in the attached table.
  2. Complete the program within two years, with the last six months dedicated to applied research.
  3. The degree is awarded as a joint degree by Alexandria University and the University of Poitiers.

Roles of the Universities

Role of the Faculty of Commerce, Alexandria University

  1. Prepare the scientific content for 12 sub-units (modules) and share it on the distance education site (MOOLE).
  2. Participate in preparing the admission test for students.
  3. Form a project teamwork from faculty staff who speak French to guide students and answer questions.
  4. Teach and utilize professors from the Faculty of Law who obtained their PhD from France to teach law articles, and professors from the Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University, to teach some courses.

Role of the Institute d'Administration des Entreprises (IAE), University of Poitiers

  1. Provide a copy of lectures and share them on the website as PDF files for the teaching staff at the Faculty of Commerce, Alexandria University.
  2. Complete the scientific content by utilizing books and references sent by the IAE, in addition to searching for e-educational resources.
  3. Follow up on students in the distance education process and answer their questions.
  4. Participate in the discussion of applied research submitted by students through video conference.
  5. Prepare admission tests and final tests in coordination with the Egyptian professors.
