The Department of Biological and Health Sports Sciences at the College of Sports Science - Abu Qir aims to advance the educational process and develop it within and outside the department, contributing to the service of the surrounding environment and the local community in accordance with quality standards and their development in sports education colleges.

The department seeks to develop the educational process and contribute to the service of the surrounding environment and the local community, in accordance with quality standards and their development in sports education colleges.

Mission

The department's mission is to prepare and create a generation of graduates with integrated personality and competencies in the field of sports health, sports injuries, rehabilitation, and sports physiology, whether at the educational, scientific, or creative thinking level, supported by faith and belonging to the homeland and represented by exemplary leadership. This is achieved through academic guidance, enabling them to participate actively in the scientific and practical field with efficiency and competence.

Objectives

The objectives of the department are to:

• Achieve quality education assurance according to the following:
  • Integrated scientific and intellectual preparation of specialists in various fields of injuries and rehabilitation.
  • Serving the community and the surrounding environment of the college by spreading health awareness among community members.
  • Coordination and mutual support between the department and other scientific departments in the college.
  • Activating the traditional education process to distance electronic education.
  • Developing the capabilities, information, and skills of faculty members in the department.
