Program Details: Animal Production Program

The Animal Production Program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of animal production, including the principles of animal physiology, nutrition, and breeding.

Curriculum

The program consists of a series of compulsory and elective courses. The compulsory courses for the third level include:

• 08301: Basics of Agricultural Animal Physiology (2 theoretical, 2 practical, 3 credits)
• 08302: Basics of Agricultural Animal Nutrition (2 theoretical, 2 practical, 3 credits)
• 08303: Basics of Agricultural Animal Production and Breeding (2 theoretical, 2 practical, 3 credits)
• 09301: Basics of Poultry Breeding (2 theoretical, 2 practical, 3 credits)
• 09302: Basics of Poultry Nutrition (2 theoretical, 2 practical, 3 credits)
• 09303: Basics of Poultry Physiology (2 theoretical, 2 practical, 3 credits)
• 30310: English Language - Second Level (2 theoretical, 2 practical, - credits)
• 32307: Statistics Basics (1 theoretical, 2 practical, 2 credits)
• 32320: Field Training ( - theoretical, 4 practical, 2 credits)

Elective Courses

Students are required to take two general elective courses (5 credits) from Table 20, one specialized elective course in animal production (3 credits) from Table 21, and one specialized elective course in poultry production (3 credits) from Table 22.
