UNESCO/Keizo Obuchi Research Fellowships Program
The central administration of cultural relations announces the start of applying for the UNESCO/Japan Young Researchers' fellowship program, also known as the UNESCO/Keizo Obuchi Research Fellowships Program, cycle 2019. The government of Japan offers 10 fellowships aiming at building the capacities of researchers from member countries.
Research Areas
The scholarships focus on research activities in the post-graduate phase (after master's) in four areas:
- Environment (with particular attention to disaster risk reduction)
- Intercultural dialogue
- Information and communication technology
- Peaceful conflict resolution
Application Requirements
Scholars who fulfill all requirements and wish to be nominated shall complete all the required documents carefully and hand in the aptitude file with employer recommendation by October 31, 2019, at 1:00 PM at the latest.
