Program Overview

The جسر المستقبل program, also known as the "Bridge to the Future" program, is designed for high school students in their second or third year. The program allows students to take university-level courses concurrently with their high school studies, and these courses can be credited towards their future university degree.

Target Audience

The program is open to students in their second or third year of high school from all public education tracks.

Required Documents for Registration

To register for the program, students must provide the following documents:

1. A copy of their valid national ID card
2. General Aptitude Test results
3. A copy of their first or second-year high school certificate

General Conditions for Joining the Program

To be eligible for the program, students must meet the following conditions:

1. Be a Saudi national or have a Saudi mother
2. Be in their second or third year of high school in a public school
3. Achieve a weighted grade of at least 85%, calculated as follows:
   1. 50% from the General Aptitude Test results
   2. 50% from the cumulative grade point average of the previous year

Important Information about the Program

1. Students join the program at the beginning of the university's second semester.
2. Courses are studied remotely, and exams are taken in person at the university.
3. Course materials are studied weekly, and students can benefit from the university's self-study support systems.
4. The university's Admissions and Registration Office creates the academic schedules and determines the dates of lectures and exams.
5. The university sets the dates for periodic and final exams, ensuring they do not conflict with the students' high school schedules.
6. Students are subject to all the university's rules and regulations for passing courses, including attendance requirements and achieving the required grades.
7. The University of Jeddah is not responsible if a student fails to pass the courses or if another university does not recognize the credits.
8. There is no financial compensation for students participating in the program.

Program Benefits

1. Students receive an official academic transcript from the university with their grades in the courses they have completed.
2. Students who successfully complete the program and meet the admission requirements (a weighted grade of at least 85%) are conditionally accepted into the University of Jeddah.
3. Students who complete the program with a grade of at least 90% and meet the admission requirements can compete for a place in the University of Jeddah's gifted student program (excluding the College of Medicine).
