Introduction to KFUPM Business School

KFUPM Business School is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) since 2002. The school offers various graduate programs, including the MBA program.

MBA Program Overview

The MBA program at KFUPM Business School was established in 1975 and is one of the oldest MBA programs in the region. The program provides necessary education and skills to prepare students to work and perform successfully at all levels of management. It covers all functional areas of business and allows students to take additional elective courses that match their career aims and personal goals.

MBA Curriculum

The MBA program is a cohort-based program comprised of 36 credit hours, which can be completed in two years (four semesters). Classes are held from Sundays to Wednesdays, 5:20 pm – 9:25 pm.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the MBA program, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• A four-year Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution/university
• A GPA not less than 2.5 out of 4.00 or equivalent
• GMAT or GRE scores are optional but may support applicants' files
• IELTS score of 6+ or TOEFL score of 70+ or Duolingo score of 105+ (waived for KFUPM graduates and graduates from English-speaking countries)
• A short introductory video (maximum 2 minutes)
• Three recommendation letters
• At least one course in college-level math and statistics
• A one-page statement of purpose
• At least three years of work experience (after graduation)

Tuition Fees

The program tuition fee is SAR 80,000, with discounts available. Students sponsored by their employers from private sectors (except KFUPM) are charged SAR 150,000 for the whole program.
