Eligibility Criteria
- Undergraduate students at KFUPM who are sophomores and above, and are not expecting to continue a semester or more after the fellowship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Open to all majors.
- Applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in research and a willingness to engage in cross-cultural academic experiences.
Application Process
- Students can either apply through pre-arranged research opportunities offered by KFUPM or proactively contact faculty members at top 100 global universities to secure a research placement.
- A formal application form must be submitted through KFUPM Global Engagement once an opportunity is confirmed.

Program Benefits and Funding
Funding
KFUPM provides the following to eligible students:
- A monthly stipend of SAR 2,000 for 8 weeks.
- A round-trip economy class airline ticket to the host country.
- Program participation certificate and recognition upon completion.
Academic Credit
This is a non-credit-bearing research opportunity. However, it will be formally recorded on the student's academic transcript and may enhance their resume and graduate school applications.

Participant Responsibilities
- Attend the full research duration.
- Submit a final report.
- Represent KFUPM professionally and ethically abroad.
- Participate in pre-departure and post-program reflection activities.
