ERPE 311 Carbonate Diagenesis

ERPE 311 is a specialized advanced level course that covers the transition of carbonate sediments to carbonate rocks via diagenetic alterations. The course places special emphasis on the creation and destruction of pore space in carbonate rocks and how that impacts key properties, including pore volume, connectivity, and subsurface fluid flow in aquifers and hydrocarbon reservoirs.

Credits

The course is worth 3 credits.

Prerequisite

The prerequisite for ERPE 311 is ERPE 210.
