Support Program for Publishing in International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Research and Its Implementation
The Support Program for Publishing in International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Research and Its Implementation aims to support scientific publications that highlight Saudi Arabia's role at the local, regional, and international levels in promoting and enforcing International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and its conventions. The goal is to align with the objectives of IHL conventions ratified by the Kingdom, provide recommendations, and enhance awareness of these laws.

Conditions and Regulations
To be eligible for the program, the following conditions must be met:
- The principal investigator must be a faculty member at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.
- The research topic and title must be within the subjects listed in the provided table.
- The research proposal, or any part of it, must not have been previously published or funded by any entity, inside or outside the university.
- The principal investigator must be the first or corresponding author for all project outputs.
- At least 50% of the co-authors in the published paper must be affiliated with the university.
- The researcher must declare that Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University is their sole institutional affiliation in the published work, without mentioning any other institution.
- The research must be published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal.
- The research team must acknowledge Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University as the sole funder in all project-related publications.
Funding Amount
- The funding amount is based on the quality of the proposal, its objectives, and the expected project outcomes.
- The maximum support is 20,000 SAR per published paper, according to the terms and conditions of the contract.
- The total funding depends on available budgets, the number of qualifying submissions, and the financial plans of the Deanship of Research and Graduate Studies.
Project Duration
- The timeline for preparing and publishing the research is nine months.

- Submit the research proposal through the university's Scientific Research System.
